Blizzard revealed the full Diablo 4 patch notes for Update 1.1.4, which will be launching on September 12. This time, players will find an update to Diablo 4’s Season Blessings that will potentially make it easier for players to reach level 100.
Season Blessings in Diablo 4 are a bonus system in the game that only affects players participating in Season 1. To unlock these bonuses, players will have to earn Smoldering Ashes in the free or premium versions of the Battle Pass. Some of these bonuses include the Urn of Bargaining, which gives players a boost to Gold received from selling items at Vendors; the Urn of Prolonging, which makes Elixirs last longer; and the Urn of Malignance, which gives the player an upgraded chance of finding Malignant Hearts.
One of the most useful Blessings is the Urn of Aggression, which gives players more XP for killing monsters. The latest patch for Diablo 4 will be increasing the amount of XP earned from monster killing from 8% to 20%. Blizzard mentioned in the press release that this increase in XP earned should help players reach level 100 a bit faster. This is good news for those who wish to rank their characters to the maximum before October 17, when Season 2 of Diablo 4 starts.
This latest update also fixes a few issues with some of Diablo 4’s side quests. This includes allowing players to pick up certain items after completing the Missing Pieces quest, fixing an issue with progressing after using Tavish’s dagger during the Remembering the Goose quest, and removing a bug where the Retching Mass failed to reward the player gold. Update 1.1.4 also fixes an issue with the screen reader not reading enemy names.
There are some miscellaneous fixes in Update 1.1.4 as well, including various visual fixes for Diablo 4, as well as some inventory fixes. Blizzard also handled some dialogue option issues, like making it possible to hear the correct voice lines for certain taunt emotes.
At the end of the press release, Blizzard left a note for the players unhappy with the Diablo 4. This note ensures fans that the company is diligently monitoring the feedback and trying its best to make their experience as smooth as possible. With other RPGs like Starfield and Baldur’s Gate 3 getting increasingly popular, it’s a smart idea for Blizzard to ensure its player base that future fixes are on the way.
