Genshin Impact Fan Shares Teyvat Map Concept

An interesting, fan-made Genshin Impact concept shows a hypothetical map of Teyvat that includes the three currently revealed main regions.

Two of Genshin Impact‘s main assets are unique character design and breathtaking scenery that can’t be found elsewhere. Adventuring is one of the most crucial parts of the gameplay found in Genshin Impact, as it allows players to see said scenery and engage with the game’s memorable roster of characters.

The last couple of updates have brought the Enkanomiya region alongside the Inazuma islands. It seems as though Hoyoverse is not planning to stop there, as the official live stream for the update 2.5 event announced the arrival of a new big region named Chasm. Following this region reveal, a fan shared a concept that imagines what a map of Tevyat would look like.

A recent post on the popular Genshin Impact subreddit has revealed a fan-made map of Teyvat. Reddit user jRodrick used some software named Wonderdraft to create this interesting map concept. The creator has verified that, other than the known regions, most of the map is fictional and isn’t based on any trending Genshin Impact leaks. The concept has been well received in the community so far, with the post gathering over 9k upvotes.

The world of Teyvat has been expanding heavily over the last couple of updates. As mentioned above, a new region named Chasm has already been confirmed in the official Genshin Impact 2.5 live stream. There is already a lot of hype and expectations surrounding this region considering that its name has been displayed on the current in-game map for many months. The region will bring multiple teleport waypoints, including a statue of the Seven and probably a new Oculus. A new normal boss from the Automaton family named Ruin Serpent will also arrive with Chasm.

Multiple rumors have been hinting that Chasm will serve as an introduction to a brand-new region named Sumeru. Sumeru is another major region just like Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma. Each nation in the game revolves around its own Archon and its divine ideals, which include order, freedom, and justice. In the case of Sumeru, the God of Wisdom rules in the pursuit of all knowledge.

For the nation of Sumeru, it follows the lead of the Dendro Archon, whose powers create life from the surrounding desert. As such, players can expect a very flowery and plant-like environment when they enter the nation. Dendro is the only Genshin Impact element that isn’t attached to any playable character at the moment. However, these leaks should still be taken with a grain of salt considering that miHoYo is yet to officially confirm the arrival of a new major region. If such a region comes, jRodrick’s map might be in need of an update.

Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
